Fun fact: the Green Park Brasserie building is a former railway station dating back to the 1800s, Green Park Station (hence the name). Now a restaurant and bar usually filled with the sound of live music, it’s also got a spacious terrace at the front.

Opened late last year, Boho Marché, Francis Hotel Bath's new restaurant, is the place to be to indulge in Moroccan and Mediterranean flavours. Located on Queen Square, the terrace is open from 10am to 7pm, letting you soak up the sun and enjoy equally summery dishes and drinks. Breakfast is served from 10am to 12pm, and an all-day menu from 12pm to 7pm.
The PIG-near Bath
The PIG-near Bath, nestled in the Somerset countryside by the village of Pensford, serves up a seasonal lunch menu, crafted using ingredients sourced locally from within a 25-mile radius, on their alfresco terrace. Expect spring harvest Kitchen Garden veggies and salads, meats from their local farmers and fresh fish from nearby ports, rounded off with a classic pud – all designed to be enjoyed outside, accompanied by a bottle!
Newton Farm Café
Located in the picturesque village of Newton St Loe, just ten minutes from Bath, Newton Farm Café is ideal for some countryside calm. They serve up dishes that are freshly made, wholesome and rustic, in keeping with farm-style comforts and using produce sourced directly from the working farm.
They're open seven days a week for alfresco breakfast and lunch, as well as coffee and cake in the courtyard area immediately outside the café.

The Bath Priory Hotel's Terrace and Pantry restaurant serves up a seasonal menu of fresh, tasty dishes to be enjoyed alfresco. Open for all-day dining, the relaxing terrace is open to all and has beautiful views over the hotel's four acres of gardens.
BeerCraft of Bath
Enjoy a pint of craft beer or cider in one of Bath's most iconic locations – BeerCraft of Bath is located on Pulteney Bridge (one of only four bridges in the world with shops spanning both sides). Their friendly team will be on hand to help you choose from their vast selection of drinks – at any one time they have at least 500 beers in stock. You can sip yours while watching the world go by from their two tables and eight seats on the pavement outside the shop.
Bandook Indian Kitchen
Milsom Place's Bandook Indian Kitchen have reopened their beautiful courtyard, accommodating up to 35 people at a time. Running an all-day service from 12pm to 9pm, you can enjoy chai brunches, delicious lunches and cosy evening dinners. With awnings to protect from the elements and outdoor heaters, not to mention flavourful, vibrant and spicy Indian dishes, you'll be sure to stay toasty and warm. Soaking up some rays alfresco with a glass of wine in hand has been part of Vino Vino's appeal for years. Perfectly situated on Saw Close, close to Theatre Royal Bath and surrounded by other restaurants, it is a great spot for watching the world go by. Choose your bottle and take your pick from their selection of tapas and meze platters as you sit back and relax – their overhead heaters will keep you toasty as the sun goes down!
