Bath Christmas lights

Take a stroll through the picturesque streets of Bath and take in the Christmas lights, with some of the most photogenic spots being around Bath Christmas Market (27 November - 14 December), Abbey Churchyard, Milsom Street, Green Street and the back lanes of Northumberland Place and Union Passage.

Make sure to stop by to see the giant Christmas tree in front of Bath Abbey, the illuminated plane tree in Abbey Green, and the diamond lights covering the Mallory jewellers on Bridge Street.

Bath on Ice and Glow Golf in Royal Victoria Park both make for a dazzling nighttime photo too!

The Festival of Light: British Icons at Longleat (8 November - 11 January)

Meet characters from Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit and more while you journey to some of the UK’s most famous landmarks across Longleat's grounds. Also included in your ticket are the winter safari, hedge maze, bat cave, train ride and a boat cruise!

Winter Wonderland at Wookey Hole (selected dates from 22 November - 24 December)

See Wookey Hole Caves draped in over 100,000 fairy lights this Christmas. Meet Santa in his grotto and receive a gift from Santa's elves in the Wookey Hole Toy Factory, watch the new Christmas Circus Show and make time to see the Christmas film in the 4D cinema!

Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum (selected dates from 23 November - 31 December)

This year's light trail at Westonbirt Arboretumis inspired by nature. See the trees lit up beautifully as you explore, and enjoy this year's new additions: Laser Lights, Mycelium Network, Fireworks Trees, and Wicker Animals. Relaxed sessions are on 29 November, 6 December, 11 December and 17 December.

Christmas at Stourhead (28 November - 31 December)

Watch a stunning Star Show, a shimmering Sea of Light, and spectacular lasers dancing across the night sky in Stourhead's mesmerising winter trail.

Christmas Experience at Avon Valley Adventure Park (selected dates from 29 November - 24 December)

Wander through the Magical Forest light trail and see the trees come alive with your magic elf specs! There's plenty more to do while you're there, including visiting Santa's Toy Shop, riding the Polar Express Miniature Steam Train,and meeting some real life reindeer! You can also watch The Grinch Show and fill up on festive food and drink.

Christmas Garden Illuminations at The Bishop's Palace & Gardens (29 November - 4 January)

Enjoy light displays including a mesmerising lantern tree, illuminated woodland, and a light tunnel, set against the impressive backdrop of the historic Bishop's Palace and its gardens.
