From Thursday 28 November to Sunday 15 December 2024, the picturesque streets of Bath will be transformed into a magical, festive experience like no other.

Featuring over 230 twinkling chalets entwining some of Bath’s most iconic monuments, a plethora of food and beverage stalls and a light display that will transport you to another word, it’s definitely one to add to the to-do list this Christmas. Book your stay now to avoid disappointment! 

With stalls showcasing artisan jewellers, cheesemongers, homeware and more, it's the perfect place to find some perfect Christmas gifts. 

Meander through the streets of whilst discover some of the best crafters that the South West and beyond has to offer. With stylish homeware, handmade jewellery, personalised presents and more, bathe in the sights and smells of Christmas while ticking everything off your shopping list.
Whilst you’re here, make sure to sample some of your favourite winter warmers with a range of food stalls and mulled wine on every corner. Discover a selection of wonderful caterers that offer something special to keep you toasty while you’re walking round. 

Bath Christmas Market is passionate about supporting small businesses and giving a platform for emerging artisans to showcase their talents. These micro-businesses have access to short-term lets if they are unable to join the Market for its full duration. This year, the Market is bringing back its Christmas Carts on Green Street for those that want to try their hand at the Christmas Market for the first time. Each incredible business will feature for 3 or 4 days, so there’s always something new to see.  

Bath Christmas Market is free to attend, and no ticket is needed for entry.

The market is also aiming to reduce the number of single-use cups by offering a 50p reduction in the price of hot drinks from any of the market’s catering outlets, for anyone bringing a reusable cup.

Quiter shopping times

New to the market this year are quieter shopping times between the hours of 10am and 12pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, offering visitors a calmer experience at the market, with a limited entertainment schedule.

Getting There

Bath Christmas Market spans the historic city centre, from Abbeygate Street, down Bath Street and all the way up Milsom Street. It is just a 5-minute walk away from Bath Spa railway station and Bath Bus station, with the Park and Ride stop located right on the periphery of the market footprint.
