Glowing in atmospheric lights, Bath on Ice is back from 20 November 2026 until 3 January 2027 and is the perfect place to practise your skating and show off some moves.

With wintry music, a cosy bar, and seasonal drinks, you'll be transported to a dreamy winter wonderland!

This season will feature student nights, limitless skate sessions and themed days.

Skating Sessions

Pre-booking is essential over the festive period to avoid queues and ensure you and your family and friends have everything you need to get your skates on with ease.

Hourly sessions start at 10:30am* and continue to 21:10 each evening.

• Concession (13yrs - 17yrs, student and Senior citizen  *ID Required) - £15.50
• Family (2 adults and 2 under 12s or 1 adult and 3 under 12s) - £53.50

Toddler Time

Available from Monday - Friday up until 11 December, toddler time on the rink costs £24.50 per ticket, which includes 1 adult, 1 child (under 12yrs) and 1 skate aid (normally £35.50). This offer is only valid for the 11.45am and 13.00pm sessions.

Food & Drink

The huge, heated undercover Moguls Alpine Bar returns fully stocked with a range of wood-fired pizzas, festive cocktails, spiced mulled wine and cider, refreshing draught beers and luxurious hot chocolates.

Treetop Cafe is also next door and open until 5pm daily, with great views of the ice rink.

Glow Golf

Playing golf at night with glow-in-the-dark balls adds a whole new layer of excitement to the classic daytime experience. When you book you’ll select a 15-minute window for your booking. Please arrive at the start of this window and the team will let you in in order of arrival time. The course takes approximately 1 hour, 20 minutes to complete.

How do I get to Bath on Ice?

It's a relatively short walk from Bath city centre to Royal Victoria Park, and the Bath Park & Ride buses stop just next door to Bath on Ice during Bath Christmas Market. If you're arriving by train, it's a brief stroll through the city centre. The nearest car park is Charlotte Street Car Park.

Is there an age limit for skating at Bath on Ice?

2 is the recommended minimum age, as children need to be confident on their feet and fit into skates.

Are ice skates supplied?

There is a wide range of skates, ranging up to an Adult size 15 available to hire. The smallest size single-blade skate available is a child’s 8; however, there are adjustable double-bladed bob-skates that fit a child’s size 7. These go over the shoes and are designed to help with stability while kids learn to skate.

You are perfectly welcome to bring your own skates however, there is no change to the pricing if you do. Bath On Ice also does not offer a skate sharpening service.

Are there skating aids at Bath on Ice?

Skate aids will be available to help the younger one’s balance or to sit on whilst being pushed by a parent; however, the little one still must have a ticket and be wearing skates. Skate aids can be rented out at £5.00 per session and are bookable online or on sit - please note that availability is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.

Can I bring my dog?

While dogs are not allowed on the ice rink, you are welcome to bring them into the bar area as long as they are kept on a lead. However, the site can get very busy so we would recommend leaving dogs at home.

Do I have to skate if I go to Bath on Ice?

Not at all! You're welcome to take a seat in Moguls Alpine Bar to enjoy a festive drink or hot drink and watch the action! The spectator area and bar are free to enter; you only need a ticket if you intend to skate. There's also the option of Glow Golf if you don't want to skate!

Is Bath on Ice accessible to wheelchairs?

The rink is certainly wheelchair accessible and you are welcome to book onto any skate session. Please bear in mind wheels on an electric wheelchair may not function properly if raining. The spectator area, Treetop Cafe and Moguls Alpine Bar are also accessible by wheelchair.
