BBC Bristol is offering you the chance to take a tour and have a peek behind the scenes of programmes made and produced here such as the regional news programme, BBC Points West.
You are able to have a go at reading the news or presenting the sport and weather or have fun making your own radio drama with sound effects in the interactive studio. You will have the opportunity to see studios and visit the home of BBC Radio Bristol.
Your experienced tour guides will tell you about the Natural History Units Springwatch and Autumnwatch; and favourite programmes such as Antiques Roadshow, Flog It!, Countryfile, Gardeners' World and DIY SOS. Many cookery programmes, such as the Hairy Bikers, are also produced at BBC Bristol. Radio 4 programmes are made here such as Poetry Please and Farming Today and your guides will tell you about these and many more produced here such as Any Questions?
Tours are suitable for anyone seven years and over. They last approximately one-hour-and-three-quarters and give a fascinating insight into the world of broadcasting.
