Huts Upon a Hill

This cosy hut is based on a traditional shepherd's dwelling. The hut is located on a working farm within its own meadow in a private location, with stunning views all around for a 20 mile radius, and is  a cosy hideaway with modern day facilities.

The snug hut houses a built-in fridge, hob, log burning fire and en-suite shower facilities with a flushing toilet and hot water at the turn of a tap. Prices also include logs, kindling and fire lighters on arrival. Included is a luxurious king size bed from which guests can enjoy the views. There is a television with DVD player, and Wi-Fi access if required, as well as books, traditional games, radio, hairdryer, kettle, toaster, slow-cooker, cooking utensils, crockery, fresh linen, towels and a bathroom wash pack. Guests are offered the chance to collect free range eggs from the chicken house to enjoy for breakfast with their small farmhouse loaf. A breakfast box is available upon request at an extra charge, as well as any additional requirements by guests, such as champagne, flowers or chocolates for that all important special occasion. We cater for all but can only occupy two adults at a time and a small baby.

Attractions include walking, cycling, and horse riding in the local area, Wellow has also recently had a tennis court erected for all, in the village playing fields. Further afield there are all the attractions that Bath as to offer. Bradford upon Avon is seven miles away, Longleat 13 miles, Wells Cathedral 14 miles and Cheddar Gorge is 23 miles. Local places to eat and drink include Wellow's country pub The Fox and Badger, The George in Norton St. Phillip and Wheatsheaf at Combe Hay.
