Please see Stable Cottage's website for details of reopening.
Stable Cottage is a stone-built house created from a stable block dating from the 1840s, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite), accommodating six people. The property has an open-plan kitchen and living room, which is perfect for socialising with family and friends.
The property is newly-renovated, with large windows which fill the cottage with lots of light. The kitchen is fully-equipped with cookware, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Guests can enjoy a welcome pack with tea and coffee, and all the essentials for a tasty breakfast. There are also books and board games in the house for the use of guests.
Stable Cottage is located in the beautiful Georgian village of Freshford, which lies at the junction of the Frome and Avon valleys in the southern Cotswords. Just five miles from Bath and two miles from the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon, Freshford has a wonderful pub which serves great food and local beer and ciders, just a few minutes' walk from the cottage. There is also a well-stocked village community shop and café. Bath is just a nine minute train journey from Freshford's village station, just a short stroll from the cottage.
