The Huntsman

The Huntsman is one of Bath's oldest pubs serving a good selection of real ales, local ciders, hot drinks and fresh food. The pub is in a great central location, next door to the Visitor Information Centre, and close to Sally Lunn's, Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths and Bath Recreation Ground.

The Huntsman was bought by the London family brewer Fuller, Smith & Turner in November 2012 and after undergoing a considerable refurbishment now boasts fine dining upstairs in the Elder Rooms, named after the building’s architect, John Wood the Elder, who is known for designing many of the finest streets and buildings in Bath.

The Elder Rooms Restaurant on the first floor offers fresh food, A La Carte. The Restaurant has its own Bar, and is proving popular with groups of people, as well as individual diners. There is a Private Dining Area within The Elder Rooms, which is a favourite of both corporate and society groups.

Also on the first floor, you will also find The Mezzanine, which is also available to book for private functions, events and get-togethers.
