About

Founded in 1859, there’s more than meets the eye at Bath Cricket Club. Apart from being one of the most beautiful locations in the UK to host high-performance cricket, they are busy serving the community, businesses and tourists every day of the week.

Cricket fixtures take place from April until September.

Community projects

Their bread-and-butter activities are driven by cricket, which gives opportunities to children and adults throughout the year as well as driving forward the development of female and disabled players. The community coaching team takes cricket, multi-sports and one-to-one mentoring into primary and secondary schools throughout the school year. This is made possible through partnerships with Somerset Cricket Foundation, Chance to Shine and local business donations.

School holiday activities

During the school holidays, the space invaded by children from far and wide, for fun and games on the Multi-Activity camps, Football Frenzy and specialist cricket sessions. It’s important for Bath Cricket Club that this is affordable and can include as many families as possible to meet their commitment to the community. In 2024 with the help of charitable donations, they aim to start providing free spaces with free warm meals to children on Free school meals.

Car parking

For visitors to the city centre, there is an onsite car park that has space for 100 cars and during the dry, winter days, grass parking is available for 250+ cars. Locals who commute into the centre may be interested in purchasing a permit available Monday to Friday.

Bath Cricket Club is somewhere where anyone feels welcome and can give something to everyone, seven days a week, throughout all seasons.
