This year’s annual Bath Bachfest, a celebration of the music of J.S. Bach and his Baroque contemporaries, takes place from Wednesday 19 to Saturday 22 February at beautiful central venues including Bath Abbey and the Georgian Guildhall.

This year's festival features four evening concerts, concluding with Bach’s great Mass in B minor in Bath Abbey, a lunchtime concert entitled ‘A Shakespeare Miscellany’ and an 11am Saturday morning concert. A particular highlight is an organ recital on the great Klais organ in Bath Abbey by the organist of Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris.

This delightful short mid-winter festival of fine music is guaranteed to raise spirits in the darkest days of winter.
