About

The Roman Baths

The season of Saturnalia was a time when Romans would bring greenery into their homes. Visitors are invited to join in some festive fun and create a Christmas wreath using lush evergreen foliage, pine cones, berries, dried fruit, and cinnamon sticks, all finished off with fabulous Christmas ribbon.

Your Teacher:

Andrew began his floristry career in 1982 at the age of 16 and worked in several flower shops in Bath. He gained his Society of Floristry qualifications in 1989 before starting his own business, Jacaranda, in 1993. Andrew enjoys demonstrating for local flower clubs and groups, and for the past 10 years he has been a floristry lecturer at Bath College. He loves sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience with all those budding florists.

Andrew says that working with flowers has always been his passion, and he has arranged flowers for many weddings and events — including royalty.
