About

The moving story of the usually publicity-shy Czech pianist Alfred Brendel, who, on the brink of retirement, mentored a young prodigical player (Kit Armstrong), despite having vowed never to teach children. Contains the only footage of Brendel performing during his farewell tour.

Includes live Q & A from Mark Kidel (Director) and Adrian Brendel (musician and son of Alfred Brendel).
