A celebration of five Brazilian musical legends

Renowned saxophonist and ECM recording artist Iain Ballamy returns to WMC to share his lifelong fascination with the vibrant music of Brazil. 'Fascinada' (or 'Spellbound') features magical textural improvisations, each one leading to an original composition created in the spirit of Ivan Lins, Milton Nascimento, Tom Jobim, Joao Bosco or Hermeto Pascoal. Joining Ballamy on stage are a stellar band featuring extraordinary BBC Young Generation Artist guitarist Rob Luft and a rhythm section including WMC favourite Huw Warren.
