About
Picnic in the beautifully romantic Iford Manor Gardens, with the stunning evening light showing off the garden at its best, as the garden then morphs into a magical delight especially lit up at night for the festival.
On Friday & Saturday nights, picnic with music wafting over you (or dine in the restaurant), promenade the garden exploring it’s antiquities, structures and views with a glass in hand before, dancing the night away:
Thursday 19th June: Tim Garland and Jason Rebello in Iford’s cloister
Treat yourself to an intimate performance within the stunning cloisters at Iford (nb: the cloister will have a temporary roof put on for the festival). Tim Garland (sax) and Jason Rebello (piano) are two of the UK's most impressive, renowned jazz musicians who between them have worked with luminaries such as Sting, Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter and Jeff Beck.
Friday 20th June: An Evening with Jacqui Dankworth, Charlie Wood and band in the casita.
The acclaimed jazz-vocalist, Jacqui Dankworth, is joined by a stellar line-up of musicians for a very select number of tour dates - which includes Iford’s casita.
Saturday 21st June: Shakatak in the casita, with DJ sets from Mike Vitti on the lawn
Legendary jazz-funk band Shakatak will be playing their familiar hit records, such as Easier Said Than Done, Night Birds and Down on the Street as well as new material from recent albums. DJ Mike Vitti returns to the lawn to play in between set.
Saturday 21st June & Sunday 22nd June: Nigel Price & Ashley John Long Jazz Lunches!
Enjoy a delicious 3 course lunch (included in the price) accompanied by sublime jazz from the awarding-winning Nigel Price (guitar), teaming up with double bass virtuoso Ashley John Long. They will be celebrating the perfoming duo of Joe Pass and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pederson.
Well behaved dogs on short leads are most welcome to the events, with the exception of Thursday’s evening concert due to the restricted space in the cloister.
