About

Mike Joyce was the drummer for The Smiths from their formation in 1982 until their split in 1987, a period that saw the band release five era-defining albums and secure their place as one of the most influential groups in music history. This November, he tours with My Life in The Smiths, his candid memoir that lifts the lid on what it was really like inside the band. Away from The Smiths, Joyce has worked with an array of artists including Sinead O'Connor, Public Image Ltd, Buzzcocks, Suede and Peter Doherty, while also enjoying a global career as a DJ.
Each event includes an interview, Q&A, and a book signing, offering a unique insight into an extraordinary musical journey.
