How often do you go see a band without knowing what they'll be playing? We've all received that last-minute invite to a gig or had a surge of spontaneity to see some new music, right?

Now, how often do you go see a band where the band doesn't know what they'll be playing?

'On the Spot' is a fully improvised jam band, bringing the audience excitement through the random and chaotic nature of improvised music. As a band, we'll throw out ideas which we build on and expand, turning a small guitar lick, chord sequence or drum beat into a fully fledged song with sections and solos and a lyrical hook.

The band lineup consists of incredible Bristol musicians from all musical backgrounds, from Jazz to Metal. But once we get together and the jamming starts, our genres become a gorgeous blend of soul, funk, RnB, indie, Hip Hop, and so much more.
In short, we'll have you dancing along with us thanks to stanky grooves, catchy hooks and some good old-fashioned fun.
