Visitors are invited to Silk Wood Barn to discover more about nature through touch, sound, and sight. Participants can follow a blindfold rope trail, create a sound map, use color filters and prisms to see through the eyes of a bee, and design their own flower UV pattern art.

The trail is suitable for children aged 3 and above.

Dogs on leads are welcome in Silk Wood.

Suitable clothing for exploring is recommended.

Visitors should also explore the Green Games summer family trail in the Old Arboretum, a dog-free zone where only assistance dogs are allowed.
