About

Meet in the paddock above Beckford's Grotto for warming drinks and company round the fire; then descend into the Grotto to meet Ma Slater, who will tease and titillate you with twisted tales, finely spun from local knowledge for local people!

There is one children's session, starting at 5pm and lasting 40 minutes.

Suitable for over 18s.

There are three adult sessions, starting at 7pm, 7:30pm and 8pm. Please arrive on time for your session.

Note: Wear warm and weatherproof clothing, and suitable footwear for uneven ground; this is an outdoor event in the dark.

Access: Blue badge parking is available on site, please email to reserve. All other parking is off site in the local area.

Location: The Grotto is 1/2 a mile south of Beckford's Tower in the Bath direction. The turn is next to Hamilton House on the Lansdown Rd. Approaching from Bath, it's just before the pedestrian lights, on the left where the new stone wall is.

We have cycle racks on site; please cycle, walk or use public transport wherever possible. The nearest bus stop is Hamilton House.

Blue badge parking is available on site, please email to reserve. All other parking is off site in the local area.
