The Queens Chew Magna - Building

About

An attractive, cosy and atmospheric pub with B&B rooms, The Queens Chew Magna is an idyllic pub to visit.  Having undergone an extensive and beautiful renovation in 2021, The Queens Chew Magna is the chameleon of village pubs that is certainly worth a visit!

The Queens Chew Magna serves local craft beers, wines and cocktails alongside a stunning menu of pub classics and modern dishes with the added benefit of being able to stay the night too in one of their gorgeous B&B rooms.

Depending on the time of day or week The Queens Chew Magna adapts and evolves to its patrons. During the day there is a wonderful lunch menu with small bites, sandwiches, main meals or a classic ploughman’s with barista coffee available too.

Entering the weekend an array of local ales, ciders, premium larger as well as wine and cocktails that are always being updated can be enjoyed mixing with the local patrons at the bar of this village centric country “boozer”. There is a marvellous atmosphere and the pub is buzzing all evening.

While the locals are enjoying themselves at the bar, the restaurant and private dining room is full with diners experiencing a quintessential evening of fine food; pub classics and modern takes designed and prepared by the fabulous Head Chef. The Roast Dinner on Sundays is always very popular too.

Above the pub are four luxury B&B Rooms, furnished with a blend of vintage and modern furniture luxurious bedding, cushions and throws. The duplex is dog friendly (as is the pub too!) and benefits from its own private entrance.

The Pub boasts a large pub garden at the rear which is a suntrap in the summer and has the river chew at the bottom marking the gardens boundary. It is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing drink after embarking on one of the local walks, hikes or bike rides from the pub itself in the rural surroundings.

Located in the village of Chew Magna, within the Chew Valley, The Queens is tucked behind the parish church just off the high street. Any visitor will be greeted with a warm welcome by the super friendly and helpful staff who make your stay

The Queens Chew Magna has excellent routes to Bristol and Bath and makes the perfect base to visit both if staying a few nights in the luxurious and spacious rooms

The Village of Chew Magna is a vibrant village, serviced by local business’s, delis, fine dining restaurants and coffee shops. There are numerous walks and hikes from the pub itself so there is plenty to keep anyone entertained during their stay.
