Coming to Bath Street from 9th to 15th December, The Potted Game Company offers award-winning wild game paté from the Cotswold Hills. Deliciously old-fashioned, it's the perfect treat for Christmas.
There is an assortment of chalets offering delicious cheeses at the Market, perfect for prepping your Christmas cheeseboard. As Winston Churchill once observed, "a gentleman only buys his cheese at Paxton & Whitfield", and you'll find the long-established Bath-based cheesemongers in Abbey Green. Fellow locals The Bath Soft Cheese Company, who were named Supreme Champions in the 2019 Artisan Cheese Awards, are selling their organic cheeses in Abbey Churchyard.
Family-run The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company, the only cheddar-makers left in the village of Cheddar, is selling their delicious cheese in Bath Street., and you can purchase Snowdonia Cheese's luxury range of cheeses in Abbey Green, with flavours ranging from the mature Black Bomber Cheddar to the nutty Red Storm Red Leicester.
Alternatively, how about making some tasty cheese of your own? The Big Cheese Making Kit in Abbeygate Street offers make-your-own cheese and curing kits with simple to follow instructions – a great gift for cheese-lovers.
There are a variety of flavoursome cheeseboard accompaniments on offer at the Market. Bradford-on-Avon-based In a Pickle offer a delicious range of chutneys, pickles and jams. You'll find a range of delicious products and flavours, from award-winning In a Pickle Lily to zesty Passionfruit Curd at their chalet in Abbey Green. From 28th November to 9th December, Go Wild Preserves are selling delicious seasonal preserves and chutneys in Bath Street, with festive combinations and classic favourites on offer.
Fans of all things garlic will love The Garlic Farm in York Street. Choose from their range of garlic-based products, including chutneys, dressings and sauces. Chilli-lovers should make for Upton Cheyney Chilli Farm in Abbey Green. Pep up your dishes with their sauces, rubs, make-your-own kits and more. You can also add some flavour to your cooking with DW Simply Sprinkle. Their unique blends of dried herbs and spices are ideal for all aspects of cooking. Mix with a dollop of mayonnaise to make a delicious dip.
Head to Bath Harvest Rapeseed Oil in Bath Street from 9th to 15th December to pick up an award-winning smooth and nutty version of the store-cupboard essential, or pick up award-winning Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil and a range of other flavoured oils, mayonnaise, dressings, sauces and vinaigrettes at Fussels Fine Foods in Abbey Green.
For something sweet, pick up delicious deeply roasted peanut butter at Freda's Peanut Butter in Bath Street from 28th November to 8th December, and from 9th to 15th December, you can purchase hand-tapped and naturally harvested syrup at Pure Maple.

In Bath Street, you'll find The Pudding Wagon, who offer a delicious selection of gorgeously gooey handmade chocolate brownies, and in Abbey Churchyard, you can pick up locally produced homemade chocolate brownies in a variety of flavours at Chatley Chocolate Brownies.
Get into the festive mood with a mince pie from Wild Flour Cake Co. The chalet, found in Abbey Green, also sells tasty cakes with vegan and gluten-free options available. Langleys Rocky Road in Abbeygate Street offers award-winning rocky road made using top-quality chocolate and secret ingredients, and flapjack fans will love Flapjackery in Milsom Street, who sell luxury handmade flapjacks. Tuck into gluten-free flapjack in an assortment of flavours, from chocolate orange to vegan rocky road.
Family-run Choc on Choc in Abbey Green offers boxes of chocolate with a difference – look out for their chocolate cheeseboard, biscuits, stationery, full English breakfast and lots more.
