3. Outdoor Adventures

Not short on space to run, roam and explore, Woolley Grange’s 14-acres is an adventure playground full of surprises. Little legs can let off steam with football nets and a croquet lawn, plus a trampoline and swings, or can venture out to find the mysterious White Witch’s House. Animal-lovers can say hello to Rosie the pig, Simon the rabbit, and their ducks and chickens, and with an idyllic nature and kitchen garden, it’s the perfect place to let loose and relax.

4. Time to Explore

The Jacobean manor house is a great base to explore Bath and its many child-friendly attractions (you could play dress-up at the Fashion Museum or explore the fascinating Roman Baths). Longleat Safari Park and Lacock Abbey and village, where some of Harry Potter was filmed, are also just short drives away. You could also head to historic Bradford on Avon for a family adventure – canoe down the canal, hire bikes and trailers to pedal to Bath, or just play in Barton Park Farm: a haven for children and adults.

After a fun-packed day’s exploring, come back to roaring log fires, cream teas and high teas for the children, and comfortable country bedrooms. All making Woolley a true ‘home from home’, there’s no doubt that you’ll be guaranteed a memorable stay.
