This year, Bath Christmas Market will welcome its first-ever exclusively vegan chalet, The Vegan Spice. Try their delicious vegan katsu curry, comprised of sticky rice served with a Bangkok patty, smothered in katsu sauce and garnished with pickled ginger, coriander and sesame seeds. 2. The Angelfish Restaurant
Make for The Angelfish Restaurant in Abbey Green for an assortment of enticing vegan options. Enjoy homemade falafels served with homemade salsa and chunky chips, tasty vegetable tempura, and banana and apple fritters topped with your choice of cinnamon sugar, golden syrup or chocolate sauce.
3. Deutsche Bratwurst
A perennial Bath Christmas Market favourite, Deutsche Bratwurst has been selling tasty hot dogs at the Market since it first opened 19 years ago. Feast on delicious vegan smoked bratwurst in a warm toasted roll, with the option of adding sauerkraut. Find them in Abbey Churchyard.
4. Chou Chou Nuts Over You
Another Bath Christmas Market favourite is Chou Chou Nuts Over You, who offer mouth-watering warm caramelised nuts, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and hot apple juice. Find stands on York Street, Abbey Churchyard, Stall Street and Bath Street.
5. Feniton Foods
Perfect as a sweet treat to enjoy at the Market or a stocking-filler for a loved one, Feniton Foods in Abbeygate Street sell homemade luxury fudges, salted caramel sauces and cordials. This year, they’ll be offering an increased range of rich and sumptuous vegan and dairy-free goodies, including fudges made with coconut oil and coconut cream or soya milk. Choose from peanut butter and chocolate, tahini and date, chocolate and sea salt, coconut and cardamom or crumbly vanilla fudge.
6. Wild Flour Cake Co
Situated in Abbey Green, the Wild Flour Cake Co will be offering delicious festive treats including mince pies, chocolate yule logs and seasonal cakes. Those with a plant-based diet will be pleased to hear that there will be vegan cake options to tuck into, all made with natural and locally sourced ingredients.
