Nepalese dishes

About

Yak Yeti Yak is a ‘one of a kind’ restaurant, Inspired by owners, Sera and Sarah Gurung's former lives as Himalayan guides and their love of Nepalese food and atmosphere.

A fish trap made by jungle fishermen, a wooden saddle from the nomadic tribesmen of the Tibetan plateau and the Yak Yeti Yak banner that has been to the summit of Everest are amongst the array of curios you'll find adorning the walls.

One of Bath's longest serving restaurants, Yak Yeti Yak is relaxed and friendly a restaurant where you are made to feel at home. The menu is based of a collection of recipes gathered by the owners from their travels, living alongside locals.

Here ancient culinary customs and future trends coexist as you tuck into a plate of Himalayan steamed dumplings ‘Momos’, a stir-fry curry cooked with jungle herbs or carrot tart, a contemporary incarnation of a Kathmandu classic.

The menu has plenty for you to choose from set meals to individual mix and match dishes. All main meals are cooked to order, you can choose how hot, or not, you would like your meal.

Enjoy one of the special house cocktails while you sit in one of the 3 main dining areas, the Nepalese dinning room with low tables and floor cushions or alfresco in the courtyard, weather permitting.

Yak Yeti Yak welcomes well-behaved dogs.
