About

Galahad Tours has won 'Luxury Travel Operator of the Year 2025' and the 'International Tourism Award' at the 2025 regional tourism awards.

Travel back in time to the picturesque Cotswolds – an area of England famous for its rolling scenery and villages of honey-coloured stone.

This fully private luxury car tour transports you to some iconic locations and equally idyllic secret villages, still undiscovered by mass tourism.

Wander through the picture-perfect village of Castle Combe and enjoy its timeless feel as we arrive before it gets busy. Little has changed in this medieval gem for centuries – no street lights or TV aerials. This idyllic location with its picturesque cottages and babbling stream has featured in countless TV shows and movies.

Cirencester is a vibrant and ancient town in the heart of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Beauty and affectionately known as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds. It was the second largest town in Roman Britain, known as Corinium, then became a powerful Abbey in the Middle Ages, and has been a thriving market town for centuries ever since.

You will visit other picturesque and deliberately secret villages, avoiding those now overrun locations, which have been affected by tour groups and buses from London. Trust our local expertise to show you the real Cotswolds and give you a unique experience.

The Cotswolds is also famous for its quintessentially English country gardens and you will admire some in the shadow of a privately owned stately home, which will certainly charm you. Please note, an alternative stop will be suggested during the shoulder autumn/winter season.

This-door-to-door service will transport you through the English countryside in the comfort of a luxury Mercedes V Class and return you to Bath at the end of a memorable day.
