Glass Making at Bath Aqua Glass

About

Nestled deep in Bath’s Artisan Quarter on Walcot Street is Bath Aqua Glass’s Glassmaking Studio.

Come and try your hand at working with hot glass alongside their expert glassblowers. Put your breath into one of the baubles, make your own bauble or paperweight or hire out the entire studio!

Home to ‘Ashes into Bath Aqua Glass’ and ‘Bath Aqua Jewellery’ and now café ‘By The Furnace’.

In 2021, Bath Aqua Glass moved their factory shop deeper into the studio and launched ‘By The Furnace’, a fully licensed café to offer daily refreshments to those who come to watch the glassblowers at work. No longer offering Studio tours and timed glass blowing demonstrations, now you can wander from the Abbey Courtyard flagship store and watch the iconic glass being made all day with coffee & cake or heartier offerings including breakfasts, lunches, wine & grazing boards for evening events.
