Bath Festivals is delighted to present Bath International Music Festival 2026, with a stellar programme of internationally renowned artists.
The festival will run from Saturday 30 May to Sunday 7 June.
2026 highlights
Music highlights include The Gesualdo Six’s immersive performances in Bath Abbey, three of the world’s finest pianists, Richard Goode, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet and Steven Osborne, clarinettist and composer Mark Simpson and the specially formed Bath Festival Tango Ensemble at Komedia. Plus, jazz makes a welcome return with a late evening concert at The Pump Room with Ronnie Scott’s James Pearson and friends.

The 2026 edition of the Bath International Music Festival takes place from Saturday 30 May until Sunday 7 June 2026.
Is this festival separate to The Bath Festival?
The Bath International Music Festival has gone through several incarnations since 1948, before being incorporated into The Bath Festival in 2016. The Bath Festival was a multi-arts festival from 2017 - 2025. This spring will instead have two individual festivals running alongside each other: the Bath Literature Festival and Bath International Music Festival.

Is the festival accessible?
Bath Literature Festival welcomes all visitors with disabilities. Customers with accessibility requirements are now able to book Wheelchair and Essential Companion* tickets online via Bath Box Office.
