About

The Rondo Theatre Company presents 'Collaborators' by John Hodge

A darkly comic satire of Stalinist Russia, from the pen of John Hodge (of Trainspotting and Shallow Grave fame) 'Collaborators' follows writer Mikhail Bulgakov's surreal journey as he is given the offer of a lifetime: write a play about Stalin's early life. Or else. Not something one easily turns down in 1930's Moscow. The descent from hilarity to tragedy has rarely been portrayed quite so well on a stage – winning Hodge the 2012 Olivier Award for Best Play. For his first and so far, only play.

We are privileged to have John Hodge himself assisting with this production and he will be attending Friday and Saturday night for a Q&A session following the performance. Don't miss this chance to enjoy a fantastic show and talk with the award-winning author!
