About

Li Jin Hao:

Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee and Chortle Best Newcomer winner Li Jin Hao is a comedy writer and performer. Jin Hao was made in China and marinated in Singapore, loved and feared for his dry wit, gritty softness, and surreal energy, he quickly became a Chortle Student Finalist, BBC New Comedy Awards Finalist, and was accepted into the Pleasance Comedy Reserve 2023.

His debut solo show "Swimming in a Submarine" had a sell-out run at Edinburgh Fringe 2024 and earned him a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, with a London run at the Soho Theatre for three weeks, before taking the show to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

His TV appearances include Silence is Golden (Dave), Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), and ITVX Presents: Live Comedy From the Edinburgh Fringe.

Emmeline Donnie:

Emmeline Downie is a comedian, writer and actor performing across the UK comedy circuit. She co-created and starred in Edinburgh hits, Manhunt and Manhunt 2: Big Mood, earning critical acclaim; "brilliantly performed, beautifully written" - ThreeWeeks ★★★★★

Her writing credits include an Untitled BBC Studios Comedy Writers' Room and additional material for Ania Magliano's Forgive Me, Father and Leo Reich's Literally Who Cares?!!! (A24).
