About

The unique sampling experience is operated in conjunction with the fascinating Bath Botanical Gin Distillery & Herbal Apothecary. This special producer makes gins in small batches, based on unique in-house recipes. The distillery, nestled in the stunning village suburb of Widcombe, is just a 5-minute walk from Bath Spa station.

The masterclass begins by welcoming guests with a classic gin and tonic. They're then guided to observe the traditional copper still, which is integral to producing many of the handcrafted drinks available for tasting. Participants learn about the workings of the still, the intriguing history of gin, and what makes the drinks sampled here so special. The sampling includes a range of fruit-flavored gins, unusual herbal elixirs, and bitters, all crafted on site.

This event promises both fun and education, set in a stunning location. With a duration of just 1 to 1 hour 15 minutes, it's an accessible way to add an immersive experience to a visit to Bath and an excellent opportunity to support a unique, independent business.

Tickets for the tasting are £30 per person
