About

Wands Up for a Magical Friday Evening!

Step into the Forbidden Forest this summer for an unforgettable Harry Potter outdoor cinema experience at the Mendip Family Festival — just 30 minutes from Bristol, hosted at the award-winning Mendip Basecamp campsite.

From 4pm–11pm on Friday 29th August, guests can enjoy an enchanting evening packed with immersive fun. Don your wizarding robes, grab a Butterbeer, and receive a free glow wand before entering a world of magic. Enjoy sorting ceremonies, live entertainment, and a screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on a giant outdoor screen surrounded by Somerset's own Forbidden Forest.

End the night in true wizarding style with a live fire show around the campfire.
