About
One of the greatest of the Renaissance astronomers, best known for his laws of planetary motion Johannes Kepler is remembered, along with Copernicus, Tycho de Brahe and Galileo, as one of the greatest of the Renaissance astronomers.
Best known for his laws of planetary motion – thanks to a pivotal collaboration with de Brahe – he is seen as having taken the boldest step from that period, leading to the Age of Enlightenment.
This talk will focus as much on the personal and family life of this 'weird genius', as on his towering scientific achievements and their impact.
