How underwater discoveries offer new insights into naval battlegrounds
In the century that has passed since the Battle of Jutland, underwater discoveries along the Danish coast have led to the 25 warships lost in action gradually returning from the pages of history, to come back as extant memorials to the greatest naval battle of World War One.
Over the past 23 years nautical archaeologist and historian Innes McCartney has been instrumental in the finding, recording, identification and interpretation of these shipwrecks, discovering that they offer valuable new insights into the battle itself.
Speaker: Innes McCartney is one of the UK's foremost nautical archaeologists.
