About

Doing Together 2026 is a two-day symposium connecting staff, students, and the wider community through making, collaboration, and experimentation. Across the event, workshops led by staff and PGR students from across the University explore practice-based research methods and a wide variety of creative approaches.

Doing Together is a generous space to make, do, share, and discuss practice with colleagues across disciplines, fostering cross-school connections and creative exchange.

The symposium closes with Locksbrook Late—a lively, interactive evening with music, discussion and hands-on experiments.

Join external speakers Dr Nicky Sim and Jo Addison for a plenary discussion that's participatory, fun, and engaging, reflecting on the ideas sparked across the two days. It's your chance to make, share, and play together as the symposium comes alive after hours.

Free to attend.
