Get inspired, pick up your sketch pencil and paintbrush with Laura Richards, a local artist and create your own piece of artwork to take home. Immerse yourself in nature's beauty around Bowood grounds, calm down and comtemplate a moment of stillness to paint in a relaxed environment.

Laura welcomes all levels of skills to her workshop and guides you during this morning session to sketch nature before painting onto canvas. All art materials are included in the workshop cost, but you are welcome to bring your favourite sketch pad, brushes or paints. After the workshop you are welcome to wander around the House & Gardens.

Itinerary of the day:

09:30 - Arrival at Admissions at Bowood House & Gardens
09:30 - Tea and coffee upon arrival
10:00 - Workshop Begins & Housekeeping
10:05 - Introduction to Topic and Walk around grounds for Preliminary Sketches
11:30 - Painting Session in The Gardeners' Bothy (transfer sketch to canvas)
11:30 - Tea and coffee break
13:00 - Course completes, and guests depart.

Cost: £68.00 per person. (Maximum 10 people per session)
