About

Join owners Amanda and Phil Honey for a tour and talk at Caisson Gardens, featured on Gardeners' World (November 2024).

Set in idyllic countryside just two miles south of Bath, Caisson Gardens is a wonderfully eclectic and romantic garden surrounding a Georgian house built in 1815. Nestled in a peaceful valley, the garden combines classic structure with naturalistic planting, offering herbaceous borders, topiary, ponds, rills, and a walled garden with espaliered fruit trees, greenhouses and vegetable beds.

Wildflower meadows wrap around the garden, which has been lovingly restored and nurtured over the past 14 years. The disused Somerset Coal Canal runs through the property, adding a dramatic sculptural element and providing habitat for a rich variety of flora and fauna.

With regenerative gardening principles at its heart, the garden now hums with life, a haven for pollinators and wildlife. This is truly a living, breathing landscape—a peaceful, deeply personal space that continues to evolve.

The visit includes arrival refreshments and a two-course lunch at a nearby eatery.
