Parades and church services will take place across Bath and North East Somerset on Remembrance Sunday on November 10 and on Remembrance Day on November 11.

The events are an opportunity for people to remember the service and sacrifice of others and to pay their respects.

Saturday 9 November

Paulton – 11:00am: Paulton Cemetery, Dressing of the Graves

Sunday 10 November (Remembrance Sunday)

Keynsham – 09:30am: Service at St Johns’ Church. 10:30am: Parade along High Street to Memorial Gates for a Remembrance Service at 11:00am.

Midsomer Norton – 10:40am: Parade from West Clewes Recreation Ground. 11:00am: Wreath laying at the War Memorial.

Paulton – 2:40pm: Parade followed by a service around the war memorial at 2:45pm.

Peasedown St John – 10:20am: Parade from the Co-Op to the church with a service at 10:45am and Act of Remembrance at 11:00am.

Publow & Pensford – 9:30am: Service at All Saints Church. 11:00am: Act of Remembrance at Pensford War Memorial.

Radstock War Memorial – 2:00pm – Remembrance Service.

Saltford - 9.30am: Saltford Scouts and Guides parade from Broadway to St. Mary's Church, High Street. Church service for members of parade only due to space limitations.10:45am: Parade from St Mary's Church to Saltford War Memorial for wreath laying and the Last Post at 11am. 11:10: Parade from Saltford War Memorial to Broadway.

Stanton Drew – 10:15am: Church service. 10:45am: Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial.

Westfield – 10:30am: service at Trinity Methodist Church before the congregation moves to the memorial at Westfield for 11:00am.

Whitchurch Village – 10:30am: assemble at the Remembrance Garden for the Whitchurch & Pensford Royal British Legion Act of Remembrance.
