About
Tangled Roots Festival offers a vibrant blend of folk music, contemporary acoustic performances, and musical traditions from around the world.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Radford Mill Farm in Timsbury, Somerset, this small and relaxed event features camping, intimate campfire sessions, a main stage, and smaller venue performances.
Guests can enjoy delicious food grown and cooked on-site while immersing themselves in a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere.
Beyond the music, the festival provides a variety of workshops, including Yoga, Tai Chi, Folk Dance, and Gospel singing.

Times: Campsite opens 12pm on Friday. Workshops start 9am on Saturday, music starts at 12pm and ends at 11pm.

Under 16s free. Weekend ticket incudes camping, in whatever way, for 2 nights – Friday and Saturday.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get to the festival?
If you arriving by public transport, you can take a bus from Bath (service 179) or Bristol (service 178) to Timsbury. Find out more here.
Is there parking on site?
There is parking at the campsites on the festival site. Live-in vehicles/campervans/small motorhomes and caravans are welcome.
Is it a family-friendly festival?
Children are welcome at the festival and under 16s can attend for free. There is no specific programming for children, but all of the activities are family-friendly.
Can I bring my dog?
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Tangled Roots Festival. It is a working farm, some parts of the farm other than the camping fields and festival fields will have livestock and other activities taking place. There will also be other dogs on site in the camping and festival fields. There is no extra charge for dogs.
