About

Following a completely sold-out, rave-reviewed run at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer, acclaimed sketch-super troupe Tarot are bringing their brand-new, smash-hit whirlwind of a show Shuffle on tour this autumn. Kicking off in October with Aberystwyth Comedy Festival (5th Oct) and London's Soho Theatre (21st - 26th Oct), the gang will then tour across the UK throughout November. All tickets are on sale now.

In Shuffle, which was nominated for NextUp's Biggest Award In Comedy and became sixth-best reviewed show at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, Tarot asks the audience to help determine the very shape of the performance; using an ultra-high-tech algorithm and state-of-the-art software (cardboard tarot cards, text-in prompts), the nightie-clad sketch-zealots and the crowd together weave an absurd and wildly inventive show full of hair-raising characters and rug-pulling punchlines that changes every night. A surprisingly joyful and silly hour, where the relationship between audience and performer is blurred, Shuffle is so off the cuff, live, and 'in the room', you'll wonder if they're making it all up on the spot.

Tarot said: "We would call it improv but we've got some self-respect: this is sketch in nighties. Come watch a new show of big, daft and, above all, live comedy being conjured up in front of your very eyes."
