About

This spring and early summer, experience Bath in a darker light with The Frankenstein Experience, an immersive one-hour theatrical walking tour created by Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein and Show of Strength Theatre Company.

This lively and highly entertaining tour leads you through Bath's historic streets, uncovering hidden stories of secrets, scandals and lost reputations that shaped the city and inspired Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

Walk in Mary's footsteps and explore the places and characters connected to her life and legacy. The experience continues inside Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein, where atmospheric sets, artefacts and performances bring her story — and her famous creation — vividly to life.

A unique combination of outdoor walking tour and immersive museum visit, The Frankenstein Experience reveals a different side of Gothic Bath.

Tours leave at 3pm outside Sally Lunn's, Bath. Tickets must be prebooked.
