About

Paragon Singers

A unique concert inspired by the work of the Hilliard Ensemble and Jan Garbarek.

The Garbarek Project is a unique concert that melds choral music with improvisation, inspired by the work of the Hilliard Ensemble and Jan Garbarek.

Join Paragon Singers and guest saxophonist Marc Horobin for an exploratory afternoon of music, including pieces by Purcell, Palestrina, and Hildegard, in which the soprano saxophone becomes another voice in the texture; at times within the choir and sometimes removed. The programme also features choral improvisation alongside modern works by James MacMillan, Jessica Curry and Will Todd.

Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of exquisite music followed by summery refreshments in the beautiful surroundings of St Luke's Church.
