About
The 2025 edition of The Jane Austen Festival will take place from Friday 12 September to Sunday 21 September and is the largest and longest-running Jane Austen Festival in the world.
The festival begins with the highly anticipated Regency Costumed Promenade, which fills the streets of Bath with over 500 people in Regency dress.
The 10-day festival includes a varied programme of events inspired by the timeless works of Jane Austen including: guided walks, costumed balls, theatrical performances, talks and more.

Friday 12 September
- 9am - Jane Austen's Bath - minibus tour
- 10am - Sense & Sensibility Book Club
- 12pm - Friday Festival Fayre
- 1pm - "Carriages" to Meryton & Longbourn - minibus tour
- 1:45pm & 3:30pm - Taking Tea at No.1 Royal Crescent with Choux Box Patisserie
- 2pm - Austen's Arcadia
- 2pm - Jane Austen's Bath Homes - walking tour
- 2pm - Hartfield Country Dance Ball
- 3:30pm - Draw back the Curtain
- 7pm - Donwell Abbey Ball

Saturday 13 September
