About

The Zephyrets return to the Bath Fringe after a lovely reception here last year, bringing their joyful mix of music to the intimate Living Room at The Grapes.

They explore the colourful sound world of the clarinet family, from the tiny Eb clarinet through the familiar Bb to the rich depths of the bass clarinet. Their programme moves playfully across styles – from ragtime and classical favourites to film music, jazz standards and well-known songs from the world of pop. Along the way there are imaginative arrangements written especially for the group by its members, bringing familiar music into a new clarinet-rich sound.

With warmth, humour and the occasional quirky touch, the Zephyrets aim to create an intimate and entertaining musical experience perfectly suited to the relaxed atmosphere of the Fringe.
