Bowood House & Gardens is thrilled to welcome This is My Theatre, presenting their enchanting adaptation of E. Nesbit's beloved children's novel, 'Five Children & It', to the Open-Air Theatre. Tickets for this delightful production will be available for purchase starting Saturday, August 24th, suitable for audiences aged 4 years and above.

Adapted by Ethan Taylor and directed by Chloe Bond, with captivating music by Simon Stallard, this live performance promises to captivate both children and adults alike with its blend of live music and puppetry.

Follow the adventures of Cyril, Anthea, Robert, Jane, and their baby brother, affectionately called the Lamb, as they stumble upon the grumpy but magical Psammead, a sand-fairy capable of granting wishes. Join them on a journey filled with wonder and cautionary lessons about the consequences of wish fulfillment.

This is My Theatre invites you to join them for this memorable event by bringing a picnic, securing a chair, and dressing appropriately for the weather. The show will commence at 18:30, with a brief 15-20 minute interval, and is expected to conclude around 20:30.

Gates will open at 17:45, allowing attendees ample time to settle in before the performance begins. Please refrain from arriving earlier, as the team will be busy preparing the performance area. Kindly ensure you arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to avoid any disruptions.
