About

Step into the warm glow of candlelight this festive season and experience the magic of Christmas through the timeless beauty of classical music, set within the enchanting surroundings of Bath Abbey an architectural jewel at the heart of the city.

Celebrate the season with Vivaldi's iconic masterpiece The Four Seasons, brought to life as you've never heard it before. This vivid and revolutionary work captures the natural rhythms of the year, making it the perfect soundtrack for a winter's evening filled with wonder and reflection.

Performed by the acclaimed Piccadilly Sinfonietta and leading violinist Henry Chandler, this special Christmas concert promises an evening of elegance, inspiration, and festive charm. The programme will also include Corelli's exquisite Christmas Concerto along with other much-loved works. With over 200 performances each year, the ensemble—featuring some of the UK's finest classical talent—has become a beloved presence on the British music scene. The group is celebrated for its sparkling interpretations of the baroque, classical, and early romantic repertoire.
