About

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the beautiful city of Bath, No. 7 Upper Lansdown is a luxurious two-bedroom house, a short stroll from the city centre. You’ll find it situated just behind Lansdown Crescent, a short way from the Royal Crescent, both famous examples of Georgian architecture, but in a secluded spot with plenty of peace and quiet. Opulent interiors and a private terrace create a welcoming and relaxing bolthole for a city break for families or couples.

Step inside and you’ll find that the interior has been beautifully decorated with attention paid to every little detail. John Cullen mood lighting throughout the house means that you can create the perfect atmosphere whether you’re planning a romantic dinner or curling up in front of the wood burner with a book. There are wonderful pieces of artwork inside and outside the house and high quality fixtures and fittings have been chosen.

There are two bedrooms, with super-king size beds with sumptuous Hypnos Lansdowne Cashmere mattresses. One of these beds can be split to become a twin. The master bedroom features an ensuite with both a bath and a shower and there are two additional shower rooms with Ortigia beauty products, fluffy towels and bathrobes waiting.

The living room is a cosy space that still feels luxurious with big sofas to sink into in front of a wood burning stove. The warm colours chosen for the soft furnishings complement the tones of the local stone used around the fireplace. There’s a separate dining room adjoining the kitchen which you’ll find fully-equipped and a private chef is available upon request for special occasions. Or, you could take the cooking outside to the pretty private terrace which is equipped with a Kamado Joe grill and enjoys direct sunlight in the afternoons.

No 7 Upper Lansdown is located just a short stroll from some of the most iconic spots in the city, such as The Circus and the Royal Crescent. If you wander through the pretty cobbled streets which open out into sweeping crescents of spectacular Georgian houses, it’s easy to see why they are often used as film sets for period dramas. A little further down the hill and you’ll find yourself in the city centre with wide, pedestrianised streets where you can enjoy a relaxed morning’s shopping. Visit the Roman Baths to learn about the city’s origins and early history or visit the Thermae Bath Spa for some treatments and unique views of the city from the rooftop pool.
