About

Bailbrook House is a Grade II listed property set within 20 acres of private grounds with commanding views towards central Bath and the adjoining countryside.

In 2013 the property underwent a £10 million pound refurbishment programme which included the sympathetic restoration and refurbishment of the original Mansion House and a total refurbishment of the adjacent Bailbrook Court.

The sympathetically restored Mansion House now boasts 13 prestigious feature bedrooms and is home to Cloisters, the new fine dining restaurant, which has been restored in the basement of the original Mansion House. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Cloisters takes full advantage of the stunning architectural features of the historic building and seating in the loggia provides stunning views of the hotels’ front lawn.

Afternoon tea at Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath:
There are three elegant lounges situated in the Mansion House, all affording excellent views over the lawns and parkland of the hotel grounds as well as the Avon Valley and the City of Bath. We serve afternoon tea daily as well as the increasingly popular elevenses. Our afternoon teas are hand made by our expert chefs and include a selection of delicious pastries, cakes and finger sandwiches. We serve leaf tea only and our waiting staff will present to you a selection of the finest teas or coffee should you prefer.

Afternoon tea is served daily between 2.00pm and 5.00pm

The refurbishment programme included a further 81 classic and executive bedrooms in Bailbrook Court. Bailbrook Court is also well placed for meetings with a selection of 6 boardrooms, 2 training suites and 3 syndicate rooms to choose from. The Brunel Suite is the largest function room with a capacity of 160, its own entrance and registration foyer, private bar and atrium area.

Bailbrook House holds a license for weddings and civil partnerships offering couples a stunning backdrop for their special day with a wedding breakfast capacity of 130.

In Autumn 2013 Bailbrook House joined Hand Picked Hotels.
