Find out how you did...

Mostly A’s? You're a 'Sit Back & Relax' mini-break

For you, getting away is all about relaxing, so why not book into one of Bath’s luxurious spa hotels and indulge on a pampering treatment? Or, if you prefer a bit more privacy, a characterful self-catering apartment right in the centre of the city with a trip to the famous Thermae Bath Spa is sure to send you into the perfect state of relaxation. When it’s time for some sightseeing, skip the need for walking by climbing aboard a horse and cart for an elegant afternoon of taking in the sights.  And for a taste of traditional English, cosy charm, how about a visit to one of Bath's charming pubs for a hearty meal? Crystal Palace, The Raven and The Marlborough Tavern are all good places to sit back, relax and watch the world go by with a glass of wine in-hand.

Mostly B’s? You're an 'Arts & Culture Vulture' mini-break

You love to sample the very heart of the places you visit and in Bath there’s ample opportunity for you to do this! Book into the fabulously quirky No.15 Great Pulteney and slumber amongst bespoke art pieces, or those with a more modest budget can enjoy the quirky surrounds of The Abbey Hotel, only a short walk from the very centre of the city. Bath boasts three fantastic art galleries, plus a hoard of museums specialising in fashion, architecture, Georgian life and more, and we mustn’t forget the historic Roman Baths. A trip to Bath Abbey to admire its vaulted ceilings should always be near the top of the list; and how about climbing the steps to the clock face and bells on a Bath Abbey Tower Tour, and enjoy the city from new heights?

Mostly C’s? You're a 'Fabulously Foodie' mini-break

Your mini-breaks tend to revolve around food and flavor – and we don’t blame you! If you’re after Michelin starred perfection, look no further than the Bath Priory Hotel. In the heart of the city you will find every cuisine, from French brasseries to Indian street food and artisan coffee houses, so breakfast lunch and dinner are sorted! And let’s not forget the classic Bath past-time of afternoon tea. Fancy tasting a bit of everything? You can sample many of Bath’s artisanal delights on a foodie tour with Savouring Bath, and if you like to get involved in the kitchen, look no further than one of Bath’s cookery schools: Demuths is fantastic for those looking for vegan and vegetarian inspiration; learn to bake and more with celebrity chef Richard Bertinet at his cookery school; or if you have a slightly sweeter tooth, Bath Cake Company is a must.

Mostly D’s? You're a 'Feeling the Fresh Air' mini-break

For you, getting away is all about exploring and enjoying the great outdoors. Surrounded by picturesque rolling hills, Bath makes a fantastic base for exploring nature. Set up home in a countryside cabin, or how does hiring a VW Camper sound? Follow a cycle trail up and out of the city, or take in mesmerising views of the city’s rooftops from the Bath Skyline Walk and Prior Park Landscape Garden. Only a short drive from Bath you will find Cheddar Gorge and Caves, ripe for exploration, plus the calm surrounds of Chew Valley Lake for some peaceful contrast. If you feel like setting sail, hop aboard a narrow boat or river tour along one of Bath’s waterways, or how about climbing into the basket of a hot air balloon and taking in Bath and beyond from the skies?

Mostly E’s? You're an 'On the Retail-Trail' mini-break

When you go away, your priority is sampling the very best local shopping culture, which is lucky, because Bath has everything you need for a very successful shopping trip. If high street names are your bag, SouthGate Bath is full of your favourites, and for designer fashion and lifestyle brands, look no further than Milsom Street and Milsom Place. Nestled between both and beyond, you will find quaint streets lined with unique boutiques that you wouldn’t find anywhere else, so you’re guaranteed to return home with something special. With many classy hotels located only a few steps from the very best of Bath’s shopping, you can wake up in the very thick of it, plus you won’t have to carry your goodie-laden bags too far at the end of the day!
