Pizza with rocket

About

Italian-inspired pizzeria and cafe B-Block is based in The Chocolate Quarter, Keynsham, offering award-winning wood-fired pizzas, quality coffee from Bristol’s Wogan’s Coffee Roasters and a range of hearty dishes made with local produce.

The kitchen is led by legendary Executive Head-Chef Chris Wicks, supported by celebrated pizza chef Jake Proctor and a team of experienced chefs and front-of-house staff, making B-Block a brilliant spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Specialist pizzas feature alongside B-Block classics, served at lunchtime and in the evenings. Tradition is acknowledged as the influence of flavours and ingredients come straight from the pizzerias of Italy, reimagined to place the emphasis on locally sourced produce. Expect plenty of creativity too as some B-Block pizzas are given a twist, the new pepperoni pizza is a delicious addition to an incredible menu.

Breakfast features sourdough for butties or covered with avocado, poached egg and tomato salsa, or as part of a delicious full English. Don’t miss the incredible signature B-Block brownies.

Lunch features a variety of authentic wood-fired pizzas, salads, flatbreads and paninis. Cheese features heavily on the menu, even the Mozzarella and Burrata is local, hailing from Nanona in Clevedon.

Located on the former site of the J.S Frys and Cadbury chocolate factory in Keynsham, the building is steeped in history. This heritage is celebrated from the name above the door, B Block was one of the original factory buildings, through to the décor featuring salvaged light fittings, bespoke furniture, ironwork and reclaimed decorative items to create a stripped-back industrial feel.

Film Screening and Events

B-Block is a great place to visit for one of its legendary children’s parties, featuring entertainment by Party Peeps, or check out the website for the latest movie nights. Head over to the comfy luxury screening room for a classic film and then enjoy a B-Block pizza to complete the evening. Particular favourites include the sing-a-longs, with Mama Mia and other musicals brought to life with the audience singing at the top of their voices!

Private Hire and Parties

B-Block and The Chocolate Quarter feature a number of spaces including meeting rooms and a small cinema for private hire. The Cecil Fry board room can host up to 22 delegates; the Cocoa Room is a private dining space where groups of up to 16 can enjoy seasonal menus. For larger celebrations why not take over the whole restaurant with up to 100 guests with catering dedicated to the occasion and delicious drinks from the cocktail bar.

Getting there

B-Block features on-site parking and superb transport links with a 5-minute walk from Keynsham railway station, making it a great, accessible space for private functions.
