The Garrick’s Head
Situated adjacent to the Theatre Royal in the centre of Bath, the Garrick’s Head is an independent pub and dining room, offering a delicious selection of dishes. The kitchen uses seasonal ingredients, and everything except the bread, butter and cheese is made fresh onsite.
The bar menu offers traditional pub dishes such as fresh cod in beer batter with triple cooked chips, or a handmade burger served with smoked hickory relish. The A La Carte has more complex creations, such as venison steak with a mini cottage pie of venison, or poached Guineafowl with wild garlic.
The Garrick’s Head is ideally situated for pre-theatre dining as it is directly next door to the theatre, so you are only minutes from your seat. Pop in after the show for some late drinks and you might find yourself rubbing shoulders with the stars of the show.
Often described as a country pub in the city centre the Garrick’s Head has roaring fires, four real ales and over 50 whiskies, there are five ciders on draught and over 20 wines by the glass. If the sun is shining, you can relax on the terrace and watch the hustle and bustle of Bath go by.
A truly independent and unique pub, the Garrick’s Head is the perfect location for a quick drink or a special occasion.
