About
Bath History & Scandals Tours - The name says it all really.
Bath is an incredibly beautiful city and a pleasure to walk around, especially during the warmer months of the year. It is famous for its architecture and Roman history, its hot springs and even celebrities of the past who have either lived in the city or who have helped in some way to increase the global fame of this delightful location. What is less well-known about Bath, however, is the many stories and scandals that lurk behind the stone facade of this former pleasure playground.
On the Bath History & Scandals Tour, you will be shown all of the most famous and beautiful sites, but more importantly, you will also learn some of the many shocking secrets and scandals that have literally helped to make Bath what it is today. You will be informed, shocked, but most assuredly, entertained on this unique walking tour experience.
Tours will meet in the pedestrian area of Bath, which is home to the famous Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, and the celebrated Bath Pump Rooms, and yes, all 3 have a scandal and a story to tell! From here, guests will be taken on a whirlwind journey that incorporates, but is not limited to, sites such as: The Theatre Royal, Pulteney Bridge, The Thermae Bath Spa, The Assembly Rooms, The Circus, and of course, The Royal Crescent.
Despite the many scandals to uncover, this tour is indeed suitable for all of the family, and once experienced, you will never see Bath in quite the same way ever again.
